Louise-Marie Oleksiuk, PharmD, BCPS

Dr. Oleksiuk is a clinical pharmacist in infectious diseases and antimicrobial stewardship at UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh. She received her pharmacy degree at the University of Pittsburgh where she then went on to complete a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at Allegheny General Hospital followed by a PGY2 pharmacy residency in infectious diseases at UPMC. 

Nasia Safdar, MD, MS, PhD, FIDSA

Dr. Safdar is a professor of infectious diseases at UW Madison. She received her medical degree at Aga Khan University Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan, where she then went on to complete an Internal Medicine residency, Infectious Diseases fellowship, and a Women’s Health & Infectious Diseases fellowship at the University of Wisconsin. She additionally has an MS in Population Health Sciences and a PhD in clinical research. Dr. Safdar will be a panel member on the upcoming IDSA clinical practice guidelines for the diagnosis and management of intravascular catheter related infections.

Joel Topf, MD

Dr. Topf is an assistant clinical professor of medicine at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Wayne State University where he then went on to complete a double residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Indian University School of Medicine. Afterwards, he completed a fellowship in nephrology at the University of Chicago. Dr. Topf also hosts his own podcast, Freely Filtered, which covers topics in the nephrology space.
