Ryan Shields PharmD, MS
Ryan Shields is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He’s the director of the UPMC Presbyterian Antibiotic Management Program. He’s also the co-director of the newly formed Precedent Research Network, which is evaluating novel gram-negative targeted antibiotics in the real world.
Robert Bonomo, MD
Robert Bonomo is the Associate Chief of Staff at the Cleveland VA Medical Center, and is the Senior Associate Dean and a Professor of Medicine in, this is quite the list, so get ready guys, Pharmacology, Molecular Biology and Microbiology, Biochemistry, Proteanomics, and Bioinformatics at Case Western University School of Medicine. So if that list isn’t enough to just tell you how wonderfully impressive this man is, his research interests include mechanistic basics of resistance to beta-lactam antibiotics and beta-lactamase inhibitors, and the molecular epidemiology of multidrug-resistant gram-negative bacteria. He’s also currently an author of the IDSA guidance for the treatment of gram-negative infections
