Valerie Vaughn, MD, MS, SFHM, FACP
Vaughn is a practicing hospitalist and tenure tract assistant professor of medicine and the university of Utah school of medicine. He is also the director of hospital medicine research at the division of internal medicine. Her research focuses on improving the safety of hospitalized patients with complicated infections, particularly with pneumonia and urinary tract infections. She also serves as the hospitalist lead in the antimicrobial use initiative within the hospital medicine safety consortium.
Jason Newland, MD, Med
Newland is a professor in pediatrics at Washington university school of medicine in St. Louis Missouri. He is the medical director of the antimicrobial stewardship program for St. Louis Children’s Hospital. He is the founder and leader of the sharing antimicrobial reports for pediatric stewardship (SHARPS).
Libby Dodds Ashley, PharmD, MHS, FCCP, BCPS
Dr Dodds Ashley is a professor of medicine of infectious diseases at Duke University. She is the clinical pharmacist within the Duke Antimicrobial Stewardship Outreach Network. She has worked with government agencies and other regulatory bodies to advocate for resources and institutional support for the work of stewards. She is also a past president of SIDP.
