Ann Falsey, MD
Dr. Ann Falsey is a professor of medicine at the University of Rochester School of Medicine. She received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology at Providence College and Doctorate in Medicine at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Strong Memorial Hospital at the University of Rochester, and Infectious Diseases Fellowship at Yale University and the University of Rochester. Initially the focus of her research was defining the epidemiology and impact of RSV in adult populations, however more recently she has broadened her research interests to include numerous respiratory pathogens including influenza, coronavirus, parainfluenza virus, and human metanumovirus. She is a member of the steering committee for the Global Influenza Initiative, the Infectious Diseases Society of America, and American Virology Society, and has published over 200 peer reviewed articles, reviews, abstracts, and book chapters in this space.
Crystal Hodge, PharmD, BCPS, BCIDP
Dr. Crystal Hodge completed her PharmD at the University of Texas at Austin, followed by a PGY1 residency at Emory University Hospital, and multisite PGY2 in Infectious Disease at Emory University Hospital Midtown and Emory University Hospital. She now practices as an assistant professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center College of Pharmacy and as an ID clinical pharmacist at the University of Texas South Western Medical Center. She is board certified in Infectious Diseases as well as Pharmacotherapy, and her current practice areas include multidrug resistant infections, infections in immunocompromised hosts, fungal infections, and public health.
Michael Ison, MD, MS
Dr. Michael Ison is a professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases in Organ Transplantation at North Western University Feinberg School of Medicine. He has spent his career focused on studying respiratory viral infections and their management in hospitalized and immunocompromised patients.
