Antonio Oliver, PharmD, PhD
Dr. Oliver is the Chief of Microbiology at Son Espases University Hospital in Mallorca, Spain. He obtained his degree in pharmacy and a PhD from the Complutense University of Madrid. He also is the principal investigator of the Antibiotic Resistance and Pathogenesis of Bacterial Infections group, which is part of the Balearic Islands Health Research Institute (IdISBa). His main research interests include investigating the mechanisms of adaptation and antimicrobial resistance in bacterial pathogens with a focus on Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Maggie Monogue, PharmD, BCIDP
Dr. Monogue is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. She graduated pharmacy school from The University of Texas at Austin and completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Parkland Health in Dallas, TX. She then completed a second year infectious diseases fellowship at the Center for Anti-Infective Research and Development in Hartford, CT. Her research interests include gram-negative infections, beta-lactamase inhibitors, PK/PD, and multidrug resistance.
