Timothy Gauthier, PharmD, BCPS, BCIDP
Dr. Timothy Gauthier obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from NorthEastern University School of Pharmacy, then completed 2 years of pharmacy residency training at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL to specialize in Infectious Diseases. He spent his first decade as an ID pharmacist working as faculty at Nova SouthEastern University in Fort Lauderdale and for the Miami VA health care system. He is currently the antimicrobial stewardship clinical program manager and PGY2 ID pharmacy residency program director for Baptist Health South Florida. He is an active member of SIDP and the ACCP ID PRN. He is best known in the profession of pharmacy for his social media preference (@IDstewardship) He is also editor in chief of www.IDstewardship.com and learnantibiotics.com.
Jillian Hayes, PharmD, BCIDP
Dr. Jillian Hayes is an Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at AdventHealth Orlando. She obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of South Carolina and then completed her PGY1 and PGY2 ID pharmacy residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville Tennessee. She is an active member of SIDP and the ACCP ID PRN. She is also the 2022 vice chair of the SIDP publications and podcasts committee. Her interests include antimicrobial stewardship in transitions of care, resident wellness and mentoring, and preventing the prescribing of cefdinir whenever possible.
