Jacinda Abdul-Mutakabbir, PharmD, MPH, AAHIVP
Jacinda Abdul-Mutakabbir is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Loma Linda University. She completed her post graduate training in Infectious Disease Pharmacokinetics/ Pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) and went on to earn a Masters of Public Health at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. As well, her research has led her to being recognized by the European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases as one of their 30 under 30 outstanding young scientists. She is dedicated to magnifying and rectifying health inequities in minoritized communities.
Jeannette Bouchard, PharmD, BCIDP
Jeannette Bouchard is an Infectious Disease and Stewardship Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at WakeMed Health & Hospitals.She is a graduate of Regis University School of Pharmacy in Denver, CO. She completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh, PA. She then completed her Infectious Diseases PGY2 Pharmacy Residency and Fellowship training at the University of South Carolina/Prisma Health Hospital. Her research during residency/fellowship focused on combination therapy for persistent MRSA infections, alternative dosing strategies for beta-lactams, and therapeutic drug monitoring for beta-lactams. Additional areas of interest are Gram-negative resistance, HIV, and HCV.
