Ryan Shields, PharmD, MS
Dr. Ryan Shields is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and Co-Director of the Antibiotic Management Program at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Shields completed his pharmacy practice residency at Saint Louis University Hospital followed by infectious diseases pharmacy residency at the University of Pittsburgh. His research and clinical interests include antimicrobial drug resistance, especially in gram-negative bacteria and yeast.
Paul Sax, MD
Dr Paul Sax is the clinical director of the division of infectious diseases at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He is also the associate program director for the Partners ID fellowship. He is a professor of medicine at Harvard University Harvard Medicine he is the editor in chief of Open Forum Infectious Diseases
