Conflict of Interest for DSMC Members: Conflicts of interest were evaluated when choosing individuals to serve on the SNAP DSMC. Aside from being compensated for their duties on the committee, DSMC members have no ongoing financial relationship that relate to the trial and are not involved in the conduct of the trial in any role other than that of a DSMC member. DSMC members have no intellectual conflict of interest or bias and reviewed SNAP data in a fully objective manner. Each DSMC candidate was well vetted.

Professor Josh Davis is an infectious diseases physician at John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle, Australia and the head of the infectious research program at the Hunter Medical Research Institute at the University of Newcastle. He is the global co-lead of the SNAP trial.
Steven Tong PhD, FRACP, MBBS (Hons), Grad Dip Epidemiol Biostats
Professor Steven Tong is an infectious diseases physician with the Victorian Infectious Diseases Service and a lead of the Clinical and Health Systems Research Discipline at the Doherty Institute. He is the co-coordinator and co-global lead of the SNAP trial.
