Drs. Pier Giorgio Cojutti and Navaneeth Narayanan join Dr. Megan Klatt to break down what you need to know about amoxicillin/clavulanate dosing. Tune in to learn more about the PK/PD of amoxicillin and clavulanic acid, how we landed on certain ratios for the treatment of common infections, strategies to optimize dosing for serious infections, and more!

Pier Giorgio Cojutti, MD, PhD
Dr. Pier Giorgio Cojutti is an MD clinical pharmacologist who works at the University of Bologna, Italy. His scientific activity is focused on pharmacometrics and quantitative pharmacology. In this area, he is responsible for developing population pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic models aimed at studying the adequacy of drug regimens. Central to the research activity is the study of pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic relationships in special populations and in relation to new biomarkers of response to therapy in the field of anti-infective and anti-neoplastic chemotherapy. He is the author of over 100 publications in international peer-reviewed journals
