Jason Pogue, PharmD, BCPS, BCIDP
Dr. Jason Pogue is a clinical professor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy and an infectious diseases clinical pharmacist at Michigan Medicine. Dr. Pogue’s research interests focus on epidemiology and management of multi-drug resistant gram-negative organisms and antimicrobial stewardship.
Dr. Pogue has a multitude of publications in both peer-reviewed articles as well multiple book chapters, including a chapter on tetracyclines. As well, Dr. Pogue has served as a Clinical Pharmacy Lead for multiple NIH funded studies addressing optimal use of polymyxins for extensively-drug resistant gram-negative pathogens.
He currently serves as a co-lead investigator of the PRECEDENT network, is a past president of SIDP and serves as the chair of the Executive Committee of US CAST.
Jeff Pearson, PharmD, BCIDP
Dr. Jeff Pearson is an Advanced Practice Pharmacy Specialist in Infectious Diseases and the PGY2 Program Director for the Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Pearson also serves as the co-director of the hospital’s antimicrobial stewardship program. He also has several leadership roles on committees for SIDP as well the Massachusetts Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Dr. Pearson is a member of the PRECEDENT network and his areas of interest include antimicrobial stewardship, antimicrobial pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, and nontuberculous mycobacterial infections.
